THE STORY OF ROSSIPP
In the summer of 2005 Margret and Jason were introduced at the newspaper where both worked. Margret was immediately smitten but Jason was in a fog, having met several people at once.
They didn't talk to each other again until January of 2007, when Margret accompanied her friend Lindsey Jacobson (who also worked at the paper) to a sports staff get together. When Jason arrived Margret immediately remembered who he was; Jason didn't remember but they were introduced again that night and hit it off right away.
Later in the evening Jason worked up the courage to ask Margret for her phone number. Before he could, she blurted out the words, "You're pretty cute," to which Jason responded, "Yeah, we should hang out."
Three days later, on January 22 2007, they had their first date at the Country House and made a real connection, capping the night with hours of conversation. By the end of that week they were pretty much inseparable, and two years to the day of their first date, Jason asked Margret to marry him, popping the question at the same table at which they finished that first date. The picture above was taken in the Country House parking lot — 20 minutes after the proposal.
